I've been riding now for about 4 years. Honestly, I never thought in a million years that I'd be riding a motorcycle. It was actually, the furthest thing from my mind. I would have laughed at the very suggestion of me riding back then! "Me, no way"!
Well, what started it all was a bike rental while on vacation with my husband. I rode for the first time on the back and fell in love with the feeling of the bike, the road and the wind in my hair. Once we were home, I suggested that we buy one. After some juggling, it eventually became a reality... Needless to say, a few road trips on the back with some friends and before long, I was thinking, "Hey, I think I wanna move up front"!
I took the Tramas course and am now the proud owner of a 1999 Honda Shadow. I truly love to ride and most of all am very happy to have found the Cycle Sisters MC. They're a great bunch of women. Always alot of laughs! I feel very fortunate to know them and I cherish every ride with them although it's not always as often as I'd like! It's not the destination, it's the getting there!
