As a teenager, I was constantly asking the guys for a ride, the thrill of riding never got old. In my early twenties, I dated a guy who raced on the club circuit and he urged me to take the MSF course. I had my license, but it was 25 years later that I got my first bike, I guess that’s some kind of record. During those years of not riding, whenever I heard a bike go buy, I wanted to shout "Take me with you!" I knew I was missing out on something big.

Shortly after getting my bike, a V-Star 650 Classic, a chance encounter with a stranded rider (that’s your shout-out, Bill) led to a meeting with the Cycle Sisters. I have felt embraced by this group since Day 1. This is a true sisterhood - women with the most open and generous of hearts, always supportive, always a lot of laughs.

The riding cliches are true - the freedom, the wind in my face, the sense of empowerment - all cause my heart to leap when beginning a ride. Whenever I’m on my bike I want to throw my hands in the air and shout "Whoo-hoo!" I look forward to creating many memories with my bike, my sisters and the riding community. You just couldn’t ask for a nicer group of people
